2009….

Hey Hey Hey.

It looks like 2009 is set to be a busy year.
Plans for tours in Japan/Australia/New Zealand/USA/Canada are being made as a type this. I think when they are all fully confirmed I will be most looking forward to visting Australia (so I can see Laura) and Japan (because it is just so different to the UK).

This year I will mostly working with The Audition of Chicago, IL and Blessed By A Broken Heart of Montreal, Canada.

Its also handy that The Audition have an album due out in April. New album = lots of touring (to promote it). The album is called “Self Titled Album” and you really should go buy it when it is released. I heard the first mixes back on the Alkaline Trio tour in February and it sounded amazingly catchy, it should be a hit! I’m excited to hear the finished product.

The Sisters of Mercy

Hello All.
I am currently parked outside the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, Belgium. I’m touring with Leeds-band “The Sisters of Mercy” the guys formed in 1980 and I believe all of these shows are sold out.

The area I am in is much better than where the VK Club is situated where I have played two shows. This seems like a “mini-London” with very large Victorian style buildings and exceedingly busy streets.

I recently bought Michael Palin’s NEW EUROPE book – it goes along with the series of the same name. Palin has such interesting travels. Of course the BBC provides him with the cash and ability to get to the very remote places he visits whereas I only go to major cities/towns. Hopefully however, I will be able to travel as much as him in the not so distant future.

But right now I must get breakfast…

The Audition

Hey All.

So I’m currently in Glasgow, parked out in front of the ABC Venue on Sauciehall Street – I love that name!

I’m touring with THE AUDITION who are support for ALKALINE TRIO everyone is awesome and this tour has been very fun so far. 8 Days left!
We haven’t had any problems yet apart from some missing merch boxes and the constantly overpriced services stations but the latter never changes.
