Notes from a Tour Manager.

I’m Not In Iceland.

Just so you know, I’m not in Iceland.

Why? Well my fear of flying/heights got the better of me. It probably wouldn’t have been so bad if it wasn’t for the four hour + delay. We were supposed to fly at 2105 but they changed that to 0220, mental.

Jamie and Chris obviously went and from what I have gathered, they are having a nice time!

In hindsight I probably should have ‘faced my fear’ and I probably would have if there wasn’t a delay but that just made it worse.

The thing is, I can’t not fly. I have to fly, I need to go around the world and a boat/car, while much more ‘adventurous’ are slightly too slow.

Oh well, Jamie and Chris have gained: several breakfasts, a bed and 5000-ish Krona!

Several members of my family suffer from this; My Uncle Jason takes tranquilizers and my dad, well he just doesn’t go out of this country unless its on a boat.

Still in England,
Charlie.

Happy Holidays

Saturday was an expensive day well, the part where Jamie and I went shopping was (and I bought some stuff online when I got home); we both went up to ‘Birstall Retail Park’ then on to the city of Leeds which was busy as expected.

Previously to that I had been over at Mr Robert Carter’s house, which is now a mere 1% of a mile from mine, which is cool. I assume I’ll be going around much more these days.

Last night was the annual IKEA Christmas party. This time it was held at ‘The Queens’ in Leeds, a rather classy establishment I must add. However, I did feel the night to be rather boring…: the music wasn’t too good, there were no free drinks (IKEA parties usually come with around three free drinks, most of the time even more), there were however, very highly priced drinks (Jamie bought two double JD w/Coke for £12 – its like Stockholm all over again!). Last night was my last IKEA Christmas party as I’ll be leaving very soon and will not be returning unlike so many others.
What the night did have was some fantastically dressed girls and some suave and sophisticated-looking guys. I name names but you know who you are.

Of course there are pictures online which can be found here. More are due to be added soon.

And today. Today Jamie, Chris and I fly to Iceland at 2105. Matt and Zoe fly to Ireland. Adam and Cat are flying to Finland (today I think…). Charlotte and Laura Newey are flying to Tenerife. Thats a lot of flights.

I’ll probably post before Christmas but Happy Holidays anyway,
Charlie.
