Business As Usual

If you hadn’t already noticed I’ve moved my blog/site to a completely online world (basically I can manage it from anywhere now and nothing is stored on my PC) all the old posts and comments are still there but some of the image links maybe broken.

Business as usual.

- Charlie.

PS – Thanks to Leona for the fantastic car image!

Broadband Lives

Well, this is my 301st post, just so you know. I’ve been blogging for nearly two years now and the site has come a long way in that time.

Anyway, last night Jamie and I went to see ‘Outlaw’ it was a pretty good film. Very violent and very ‘British’. However, it did tend to stick to two camera techniques; one was to violently jerk it constantly (usually on close ups) and the other was an exceedingly smooth tracking shot. It was slightly erratic at times but other than that a good film.

Today I’ve been re-doing the site for my documentary ‘Broadband Lives’ which is, I think the title we’re sticking with. I also visited my cousin’s, Mr Stephen Mulligan’s and Mr Kyle Varney’s.

Who knows what I’m up to tonight. Probably seeing Chris et al.

Here’s a nice animated stereo gram.

Can you work out what the image is?

Charlie.

Too Much Server Space

My old photo gallery at www.charleswbrown.com/gallery has now been deleted. It was just taking up too much server space and it was too old so… I had to let it go. In much happier news though, I do keep adding photos to my new Google-Picasa gallery so keep logging in to that!

On Thursday I popped round to Miss Newey’s. She was writing a monologue for college. The shocker at the end is that the person she is writing about is actually dead – very ‘Sixth Sense’ like, but very effective nonetheless.

Friday night was rather dead at IKEA. I reduced the menu at eightish so I had hardly no waste at all. Which is good. In the time where I had no customers to serve I mocked our Mancurian co-worker Tasha, constantly. Why? For being Mancurian of course. ‘EEERE MAYYYTTE’ etc.

Yesterday Chris and I went to the White Rose Shopping Centre. It was busy as usual but it was something to do. I even got a few nice t-shirts incidentally, so did Chris. We also went to the fabulous ‘Morley Market’ where I bought a leather folder to hold all of my ‘Director of Photography’ notes for my documentary. Its very useful and was rather cheap.

For Uni, on Monday I have to select a track to play to the class. I then have to talk about its high production values and high quality nature (if it possesses both). Since I know the most about Muse its obvious I was going to go with them. I think I’ll choose ‘Knights of Cydonia’ detailing all the different styles of vocals and intruments it has and the general epic-nature of it. Oh, and not forgetting that it rocks too.

Charlie.

PS If you can’t access my site:

  • A – Its broken
