The bus to University on Monday actually came on time, which I was very impressed with as buses to Bradford are extremely rare and hardly ever on time.
I was in Uni to discuss my third year project with my team and lecturer, they call them ‘tutorials’ because we’re supposodly being ‘tutored’. It ended up just being a major discussion about our idea which the ‘tutor’ seemed to like. So Hazza’s all round!
I’m currently trying to remember what I did on Monday evening but I can’t in the slightest. If anyone does know please give me a call or send me an email.

Tuesday 14th. I was up exceedingly early for some reason, 0730 or something… I think it was because I went to bed rather early because I was so tired. I do remember receiving a phone call from Leona at 2330ish but I was still up early. Anyway, the 14th was Mr Adam Storey’s official 21st Birthday so I sent him a text bright and early wishing him a good day n’ that. Happy 21st Birthday!
I was supposed to give a presentation at University on tuesday. However, my lecturer called in sick so that was cancelled. I suppose that was good in a way as it gave me the opportunity to do more work on my report. The report is an ‘Individual Reflective Report’ on one of my television programme ideas. It was rather boring to write as it was basically taking a step back due to the fact the idea hadn’t been chosen to be put into production.
At around 1700 Leona rang: she was on the bus coming through Birstall. I immediately prompted her to get off the bus and pay me a visit, which she did. We ended up watching ‘Bedazzled’ – that film Brendan Fraser and Liz Hurley star in, y’know the one where she is the devil? It’s not too bad but it’s no oscar-winner thats fo’ sho’. I then gave Leona a lift to glorious IKEA then I came home.
I couldn’t be bothered doing anymore essay work so I picked up Chris and we travelled to the famous Asda in Morley. I ended up buying the new version of ‘Dawn of the Dead’ as it was only £5, bargain. Chris and I originally planned to ‘do’ Asda and Tesco but instead we ended up going to IKEA. The reason for that was to show Chris the new IKEA Family range (which includes cosmetics and dressing gowns!) but we couldn’t find it; we did take a few store-short-cuts so we probably just passed it. We of course visited the restaurant where Laura wasn’t doing any work but explained to me that she would have rather had me cooking rather than the person who already was, how nice of her. We then visited the famous Sweden shop which Leona was manning heroically. I say ‘heroically’ because she had just chased a thief who stole some alcohol. Unfortunately she didn’t catch the culprits but she is still a heroine per se. I also finally bought Chris some ‘Dime’ products. Ever since I started at IKEA back in 2002 Chris has wanted me to get him some Dime-related stuff, be it cake or confectionary. This time he actually got some, and with staff discount too. He also bought a hotdog which he seemed rather pleased with.
Later… Jamie joined us. We ended up watching ‘Dawn of the Dead’ which, I think, is a really good film especially at £5. We also found out who owns the ‘Skidaddle’ copyright: a Skiing company called Ski-daddle in Canada, brilliant.

Wednesday 15th. Mr Jordan Salari was 21. November is nearly as busy as May for birthdays! So Happy 21st to him. Wednesday is my usual day off university. Once again I was finishing my ‘Individual Reflective Report’ but this time I went around to Mr Dan Cooke’s to do it. We both ended up finshing the report that day. I didn’t get back home until 1900, I had been at Dan’s since 1200. I was also trying to create a budget for a Trivium documentary that would be released world-wide. The end price tag was a cool £3750 which included everything. The american label however, found someone who could do it for £1000 so they went with him. He only has one camera though so I imagine it’ll be hard for him to film an arena gig.
In the evening of last night I went to Mr Kyle Varney’s to have chat, pre-Muse gig which is this Saturday at the Sheffield Hallam FM Arena, again this will be another fantastic gig. I took the opportunity to have a saunter around the wonderful Tesco; the christmas stuff is now in. I was most impressed by the replicas of the original versions of ‘Monopoly’ and ‘Cluedo’ both in their original wooden forms.
And that was about it for yesterday.

At this very moment in time I am currently in an edit suite with a fellow student, Mr Andrew Broughton; we’re both waiting for a another tutorial that doesn’t start until 1545, a stupidly late time seen as we finished our lecture at 1145.
Tonight I am driving up to Newcastle with Chris and Hannah. We’re off up as its Adam and Zoë’s joint 21st Party at some venue in the city. It should be a great time and I’m going to take copious amounts of pictures as I have been letting the team down recently by not taking photos of various events. I’m sorry!
Charlie.
