Notes from a Tour Manager.

World’s Most Amazing Videos.

I’ve been giving Laura a hand with her media again. This time with the rather complicated film ‘Donnie Darko’ to be fair it took me a few views to get my head around it, but I think I have now.

I also bought the new Tomb Raider game, the box looks good but I don’t really know what the game is like since Laura won’t actually let me have a go stating ‘you wouldn’t be able to do it anyway!’ and since hitting girls isn’t the coolest thing around I decided that she had won that battle and continued to watch the ‘World’s Most Amazing Videos’ on Bravo. Nice.

Download Festival this friday, should be good,
- Charlie.

Ooops

Sorry for not posting in a while, I’ve been rather busy – what with preparing the Trivium video shipment to the US of A, organising my trip to London for Muse @ Wembley and all the rest…

I’ve sort of finished IKEA for a while. I’ve basically reduced my contract so I can spend more time on my media side and the tour managing side. IKEA will still be there when I need it as it’s nice like that.

Madina Lake have also booked their first UK headlining tour:
September
24 Portsmouth, Wedgewood Rooms
25 Yeovil, Ski Lodge
26 Oxford, Zodiac
27 Norwich, Waterfront
28 Birmingham, Academy
29 Leeds, Cockpit
30 Glasgow, King Tuts

October
01 Nottingham, Rock City
02 Manchester, Academy 3
04 London, Mean Fiddler

Make sure you go to at least one!

Yesterday Laura, Amanda and I went to see ‘Pirates’ 3, as I hadn’t really seen the first or the second it didn’t make much sense to me but it still was a good film. Oh and Chris and I went to the wonderful White Rose shopping centre…we went to Primark (Zoë, Leona, calm down!) enough said!

Oh and Aiden and From Autumn to Ashes are playing at the Leeds/Reading Festivals. Don’t know if thats been announced yet. Ooops.

 Best,
- Charlie.

PS - Oh and Big Brother is Back!

Techy Work

As you can clearly see my site has changed once again. I got bored of the last design and how I updated it so I came to the decision to change the lot.

Anyway yesterday night Jamie and I trawled up to IKEA. Once again I was going for a chair and once again it was too expensive (even with my discount). They also didn’t have the DVD Rack Jamie wanted in stock, alas. However, it did give me the chance to see Leona, Laura and Charlotte. Oh, and not forgetting Stuart.

Today featured me walking to Laura’s. She lives fairly close so it made a nice changed. Today I helped her with constructing a monologue… and how to add a slideshow to her MySpace.

This evening I have been doing some techy work over at Elite Logistics.

So what do you think to the new design? Of course some new content will go online (namely a C.V.) but the photo gallery is staying where it is etc etc.

Charlie.

PS. Well it seems like hell has indeed frozen over. Why? you ask… Well, Mr Richard A Harwood has finally posted a f**kin’ blog!
