Back from Japan. It was great.. 3rd time there too.
Met some new friends and saw some old ones. Its a fabulous place. When you work it out.. a week there is probably the same price as two weeks in Greece/Spain, so I really recommend a visit!

Tomorrow is my Grandad’s funeral. It will be the first one I have been to, so I really don’t know what to expect. Its a ‘humanist’ service, celebrating his life rather than grieving his death, which I think is good. A formal Christian funeral would be very odd since nobody in my family is whatsoever religious.
Derek Brown, 76 was a good man, very respectful, had a sense of humour like Bernard Manning, was very well travelled, owned more cars than anybody I knew and loved cats. He will be greatly missed.
Rest in Peace.
- Charles.

This reletivley action-packed day has been overshadowed by the death of the legendary Steve Irwin. I am so shocked that he died its unbelieveable – if he can die, nobody has a chance, he was the real life Indiana Jones. May I say rest in piece and that your shows brought joy to millions.
Cheers may’te.
I found out about Mr Irwin’s death earlier in the day, so it overshadowed everything! Even myself and Mr Richard Harwood buying lots of computer bits, delivering music equipment to the famous Joe Parry of July Rising, the delivery of a single glove to Mr Chris Tallant, and the near-completion of a follow-the-clues type crossword and and a fully completed wordsearch by Leona and I.
Who do I call when there’s a croc on the loose? Jesus?
Charlie.
