Charles W. Brown

Notes from a Tour Manager.

Whatsoever Religious

Back from Japan. It was great.. 3rd time there too.
Met some new friends and saw some old ones. Its a fabulous place. When you work it out.. a week there is probably the same price as two weeks in Greece/Spain, so I really recommend a visit!

Tomorrow is my Grandad’s funeral. It will be the first one I have been to, so I really don’t know what to expect. Its a ‘humanist’ service, celebrating his life rather thanĀ grievingĀ his death, which I think is good. A formal Christian funeral would be very odd since nobody in my family is whatsoever religious.

Derek Brown, 76 was a good man, very respectful, had a sense of humour like Bernard Manning, was very well travelled, owned more cars than anybody I knew and loved cats. He will be greatly missed.

Rest in Peace.

- Charles.
