You’ve Got My Info

So, I’m in California after a 19 hour drive (1030miles) from Seattle.

I’m on the final ever Still Remains tour since they announced their breakup at the start of this, ‘The Serpent Tour’.

I landed in the US on the 23rd of March in Grand Rapids, MI – the band’s home town…from there we played various shows, one every day till today our first and only day off.

We encountered many crazy events on the way here: chaotic weather, van blowing up, Chris and I having to drive 750miles to pick up a new one…you know, the usual.

However, its all part of the touring lifestyle one subscribes to when they work in this industry. No one day is ever the same, and not every day is great…well, I suppose that describes every job in the world.
I’ve already met some great people on the tour and I hope to meet a lot more before it ends in the city I flew into, Grand Rapids on the 30th April – I then fly out on the 9th May after saying my usual goodbyes and whatnot since I doubt I will be seeing the band for a while..actually, Ben is flying over to the UK for a month so I will probably see him.

So yeah, I’m in Bakersfield, CA. I will also be visiting, Pomona, Hollywood, Los Angeles and some other part of the state…we have 39 shows in a row so I forget some everynow and again.

We do however, have some great bands on the bill…from Canada, ‘Secret & Whisper’ a band called ‘Gwen Stacy’ and a band from this state, ‘Catherine’.
